In fact, you should probably feel guilty for only paying $20 for this game. If you had even the slightest interest in the original Torchlight, or if you’re tired of Diablo III but are still itching for some more loot-grabbing RPG action, Torchlight II is well worth the asking price. Torchlight II forgoes a robust online infrastructure, instead focusing on delivering amazing action in its loot-rich dungeon crawls and more freedom to build your character. A game like that doesn’t come along every day, you know. It’s great, it’s gorgeous, it’s hugely replayable, it’s multiplayer, it’s moddable (with Steam Workshop!), and it’s dirt cheap.

I’m sorry to say that today will be Runic’s last day open. Build your heroes with unlimited possibilities, and dive into an epic. Our team here at Runic has released three successful games, and over that time we have seen many changes team members got married, kids were born, but the most important thing is that we have become a family. Torchlight: Infinite is the successor of the award-winning ARPG franchise Torchlight. Thanks to that support, we have had the chance to meet and work with the best people in the world.

We’ve been so lucky for the community that has supported us and made us successful. It’s been over nine years since a rag-tag team of 17 developers helped open Runic Games.
